In November 2021 the Trustees of Sir John Soane’s Museum, London, visited Downing College and the Centre for their autumn meeting, a rare occasion for such a meeting to take place outside London.
The Erechtheion: An Overlooked Paradigm of the Greek Revival?

In April the Centre’s Director, Frank Salmon, gave a paper to the Cambridge Centre for Greek Studies, presenting some new ideas about the influence of the Erechtheion in Athens (as opposed to the Parthenon) on British, European and American Neo-classical architecture.
